In 1996 I built their home in Kanui Terrace subdivision, Capt. Cook. This is a single story house on a cmu foundation. The entry and breezeway are salted and stained concrete. Jack Parrazette, AIA, was the architect on this project. The entry has a trick trellis system. At the living room,dining and kitchen, there is a soffit all the way around with lighting.

Lindal Ceder Homes provided the lumber and plans for this house. The layout was such that the Kau end of the house faced Kealakekua Bay, the middle faced Red Hill, with the Kohala bedrooms facing Kailua Town. The slab was on two - 22 1/2 degree angles.

The Edwards bought a house on the water at Minini Beach on Kealakekua Bay, Napoopoo, with plans to do a little remodel. Paul Bleck was the architect. We ended up gutting this two story house, pushed out some exterior walls to the edge of lanais, removed window/sliding glass door wall at the living room and put in a 30' Fleetwood pocket door.
We saved and refinished the Koa banister/stair handrail and picket system. Some of the finish items include but are not limit to: Granite countertops, Brazilian Cherry flooring, intercom system, conduit system for future Bose sound system, tile at all bathrooms and lanais, remote control skylights with curtains, remote control ceiling fans with lights, Jaquzzi tub, frameless shower enclosures, undercounter lighting.
